Mel C has reportedly vetoed a planned Spice Girls reunion by refusing to sing with the rest of the girls.

She turned down a £10 million deal to promote a Spice Girls Greatest Hits album, despite being dropped by her record company.

The Mirror reports that Mel said: “No amount of money is more important than my integrity.”

Victoria Beckham, Mel B and Emma Bunton are all said to be desperate for a reunion tour and even Geri Halliwell is keen.

But Mel C’s friend Carrie Grant, the Fame Academy voice coach, told the newspaper that an offer had been made but there was no chance of a reunion.

“Even though she hasn’t got a record deal at the moment, she told me there was absolutely no way she’d want anything to do with it,” said Carrie.
