Apple Inc (AAPL.O) will offer a $100 store credit to people who bought the iPhone before the company slashed the price by $200, Chief Executive Steve Jobs said in a statement on Thursday.
The offer applies to customers who bought iPhones at either Apple or AT&T Inc (T.N) stores and who are not receiving a rebate or other consideration, Jobs said in a letter posted on Apple’s Web site, at www.apple.com/hotnews/openiphoneletter/.
